He is a born and raised Charlestonian, and now makes his home on James Island with his wife and daughter, where he works from a small studio on the Intracoastal Waterway. He has been an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild and the Folly Beach Art Guild. He was a founding member of the Islands Art Gallery on James Island, where he frequently held demos, lectures and exhibitions.
